Ayumi, formerly of girl group Sugar, reported the result of her second in vitro fertilization attempt.
On the 15th, Ayumi posted on her social account "The day the result of the second IVF comes out. The result is... unfortunately X," indicating the IVF attempt was not successful.
She then uploaded a photo of a bouquet of roses given by her husband and, saying "I'm so, so deeply moved by my husband who surprised me with flowers saying I worked hard," appeared to be moved to tears.
Ayumi said "I can't inject myself in the abdomen, so every night my husband gives me the injections; he hurts and struggles more than I do," adding "We both worked hard♡ Thank you & love♡" as she expressed her affection for her husband.
Meanwhile, Ayumi married a businessman two years her senior in 2022 and welcomed her first daughter in 2024. Afterwards, she attempted IVF in her 40s for a second child but was left with a disappointing result.
