The first act of CAM's new project has been revealed.
Big band AnnoyingBox released their second EP, Second Impact (세컨드 임팩트), on the 15th at 6 p.m., showcasing an unbounded sound highlighted by a meticulous worldview and a fusion of genres.
AnnoyingBox was formed with creator Jo Maeryeok at the forefront, jazz saxophonist Lee Samsu, jazz pianist Jimindorothy (Jimindorothy), producer MUXANT (뮤턴트) and other members who had each followed different artistic trajectories coming together in collaboration.
The new release Second Impact is set under the main theme of "an alien settled on an unfamiliar Earth" and takes place 500 years in the future where humans and aliens coexist. Based on the narrative continued from their first EP, it depicts the process of conflict and reconciliation surrounding the alien technology of sound.
A representative said, "AnnoyingBox, which offers a synesthetic immersion that combines music and narrative beyond simple listening, will expand the scope of its universe further starting with this album."
