TOMORROW X TOGETHER added a Gold Disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan, once again proving their solid popularity in the archipelago.
On the 15th, the association announced that their mini album 8th "7TH YEAR: When the wind briefly stopped in the thornbush" surpassed cumulative shipments of 250,000 as of April and received the Gold Disc "Platinum" certification. With this, TOMORROW X TOGETHER wrote a record of receiving Gold Disc certifications for 16 albums in total, including the triple platinum CHIKAI (치카이).
The new release early signaled its strong box-office power by sweeping three crowns on Oricon's weekly album ranking for April 27. In particular, on the "weekly combined album ranking" it reached the top for the 14th time overall, creating a record-tying mark for the most No. 1s in history among both Japanese and overseas artists. Fueled by the enthusiastic local response, they appeared on Japan's representative music program TBS "CDTV Live! Live!" on the 11th and delivered a dazzling performance of the title track, adding to the excitement.
Their relentless schedule for global fans continues. They will hold the debut 7th anniversary special concert "2026 TXT MOA CON IN JAPAN" for a total of eight performances across four Japanese cities—starting in Aichi on the 23rd and 24th, then Chiba, Fukuoka and Hyogo. The Aichi performance on the 24th will be broadcast live globally to 53 countries and regions. Meanwhile, their mini album 8th also entered No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard main chart "Billboard 200," ranking for a second consecutive week and demonstrating overwhelming strength as their 13th main chart entry.
