Singer and actress Son Dam-bi revealed the interior of her newly renovated home.
On the 15th, a video titled "[exclusive] Son Dam-bi personally shopped around to complete a sensibility-packed, explosive interior" was posted on the YouTube channel "DambiSon."
That day Son Dam-bi said, "I spent almost three months on construction and moved in more than a month ago. It seems almost finished, and I'm going to show you how I decorated it, and I'm very nervous," and revealed the house.
An interior designer who helped decorate Son Dam-bi's home also participated. First, in the living room, instead of bringing in new furniture, the existing furniture was kept as is, but cute mini chairs were added.
What Son Dam-bi pursued were accent colors, wood and stainless steel. She said, "I asked to have the kitchen all in stainless steel. My sister said, 'It looks like it will cost a lot,'" she said.
The main feature of the living room was the fire zone. A fireplace was installed. The interior designer explained that to give a warm feeling the designer combined a slight gray tone with an olive tone and added fire.
Son Dam-bi expressed satisfaction, saying, "When I turn this on in winter, the whole place gets very warm even without heating. When it was a bit cold during the housewarming and I turned this on, in the end they asked me to turn it off."
In particular, she said, "They asked, 'Is it okay with a baby?' but ours is an eco-friendly product," and added, "This time the point is that everything is eco-friendly," drawing attention.
Son Dam-bi explained, "Because there is a baby, I was really worried about sick building syndrome. So all the wallpaper and all the paint were done with natural materials. I was afraid of allergies. My sister paid a lot of attention to that."
As a result of using eco-friendly products, she said there is no new-house smell at all, and the interior designer said, "That doesn't mean it costs a lot." To this Son Dam-bi emphasized, "That's right. Many people misunderstand this. They think the price difference would be huge, but it's not."
