Fresh off the Sea in Calape actor Kim Hyeyoon unhesitatingly consumed a shocking-looking Filipino restorative dish.
The tvN variety show Fresh off the Sea in Calape, which aired on the 14th, revealed Yum Jung-ah, Park Joon Myun, Dex, Kim Hyeyoon and Lee Si-eon's final schedule in Bohol, Philippines.
The food that appeared that day was the Filipino traditional restorative dish "balut," a fertilized duck egg cooked just before hatching. Kim Hyeyoon cracked the egg without hesitation and opened the shell, saying, "You have to peel this membrane," showing a practiced demeanor. Dex beside her kept laughing awkwardly and groaning, saying, "Wow, she peeled the membrane."
After tasting the egg without hesitation, Kim Hyeyoon gave a cool reaction, saying, "It's just an egg, like boiled egg water mixed with vinegar and salt. It's not particularly flavored, but it's tasty," surprising everyone.
Watching Kim Hyeyoon scoop out the inside of the egg with a spoon, Dex admired, "Our Hyeyoon is amazing," and Lee Si-eon, who was nearby, acknowledged Kim Hyeyoon's extraordinary survival skills, saying, "She's like the female Kim Byoung-man."
