BTOB group member Peniel is embarking on a full-fledged solo artist path following group activities.
Peniel's new song 'IDKI' will be released simultaneously worldwide on various online music sites at 6 p.m. on May 22. Ahead of that, BTOB Company released a coming-soon image and a sensuous mood video for Peniel's new single 'IDKI (IDKI)' on its official social media channels at 12 a.m. on the 15th, finishing the comeback warm-up.
The revealed coming-soon image features an old three-color traffic light standing under a Noul sky that catches the eye. The blurred atmosphere combined with the song title IDKI (I Don't Know If) etched above the traffic light piques curiosity. In the 20-second video that followed, a fleeting moment of the light changing from green to red was captured, adding a visual aftertaste.
In particular, the staging where the precariously flickering green light ultimately stops at red metaphorically expresses the cold stagnation that follows the excitement of love and the emotions standing on the threshold of breakup. It is a moment that raises expectations for how Peniel's unique sensibility has been infused into this new song.
