'Mistrot 4' TOP7 expressed feelings of burden after consecutive competitions.
On the 14th at 10 a.m. at TV CHOSUN's studio in Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, a production presentation was held for TV CHOSUN's new variety show 'Mistrot for You.' Attending the press conference were MC Boom, Ahn Sung Hoon, Min Byung-joo (CP), Lim Ji-hoon (PD), and Mistrot 4's TOP7 Lee So-na, Her Chanmi, Hong Seong-yun, Gil Ryeo-won, Yoon Tae-hwa, Yoon Yun-seo, and Yeom Yu-ri, who shared their stories.
'Mistrot for You' is a fiery and moving duet competition created by Mistrot 4's TOP7 (Jin Lee So-na, Seon Her Chanmi, Mi Hong Seong-yun, Gil Ryeo-won, Yoon Tae-hwa, Yoon Yun-seo, Yeom Yu-ri), who concluded Mistrot 4 with a final rating peak of 18.4%, together with special partners. In particular, unlike existing spinoff programs, a new competition featuring the Mistrot 4 TOP7 is scheduled, raising expectations.
In response, Mistrot 4's jin Lee So-na, when asked about her feelings at having to compete again after the competition, said, I personally think I may be the person who feels the most responsibility and burden here, and I feel a burden that ordinary people will come, and especially since I received jin, I feel I must sing well for the person working with me. She added, Our TOP7 have many strengths. So I hope the TOP7's charms will be more appealing on 'Mistrot for You,' and because I am jin, I hope there will be no eliminations for me, so I am doing my best.
Seon Her Chanmi said, The good thing is that people who sing well are chosen, and everyone interprets songs differently. So being able to learn the feelings that the other person interprets is good. The worrying part is I am concerned they might sing better than me, so I feel very nervous and think I need to practice a lot. There are pros and cons, but if you love singing and want to partner with the TOP7, you are always welcome, so please apply a lot, she said.
Mi Hong Seong-yun said, Actually I still know nothing about broadcasting, so doing this spinoff program is not easy. After finishing the competition and competing once more, I feel a little scared, but I have no doubt that the other person will do well. Since we are starting together from the beginning, I hope they would not distrust me, but if they still want to work with me, please apply anytime and join me. I hope we can rely on and trust each other as we go through the second competition, she said, revealing her nervousness.
Gil Ryeo-won said, It's my first spinoff program, and during the competition it was hard enough to handle my body alone, but doing it with a partner made the burden of how to do well to survive enormous, and I thought maybe we can show a better quality stage than in the Mistrot 4 competition, she said, expressing her burden.
Yoon Tae-hwa said, I clung desperately to the TOP7 to do the spinoff, and suddenly having to compete again is embarrassing. Thinking life is competition, I plan to do my best. The contestants this time miss and value the stage, so we must not be a nuisance and are working harder. While doing the program, I am also learning dreams and hope. Because it is a good program, I hope many people watch it, she said.
Yoon Yun-seo said, I was extremely nervous before going on stage. I was very nervous with my partner, but we rely on each other and enjoy the stage. In Mistrot 4 I showed many solo competitive stages, but this time it's a duet. So I must not think only of myself; I have to think of my partner too. I think we must rely on each other and do well, she said, announcing her resolve.
Finally Yeom Yu-ri said, Having worked hard to get through the Mistrot season 3 and 4 competitions, my heart is heavy to compete again, but thinking that while it is a competition each person has new stories and human-life stories to share, it feels less scary than before because it seems like we are sharing and conveying things with resolve rather than a frightening competition. And since I was seventh, I worry that my partner might think, what if we also finish seventh, which is a big burden, but sincerity will be conveyed to everyone, so I will do my best, she said.
