Actor Jeong I-seo once again leaves an impression through the Netflix series "The Wonder Fools."
The new Netflix series "The Wonder Fools," which lifts the veil on the 15th (directed by Yoo In-sik, written by Heo Da-jung), is a supernatural comic adventure set at the end of the 20th century in 1999 about neighborhood "fools" who accidentally gain superpowers and defend the world against villains who threaten peace.
In the drama, Jeong I-seo plays Seok Ju-ran, one of the three "Bunderkinder" who gained powers after being experimented on by Ha Won-do (played by Son Hyunjoo), the chief of the past superpower research project "Bunderkinder project."
Seok Ju-ran is a character who possesses the "brainwashing ability" that allows her to control anyone as she wishes if she sets her mind to it. Jeong I-seo makes full use of her distinctive mysterious charm to portray the character's complex inner life, who does not easily reveal her true feelings, in a three-dimensional way.
At the earlier production press conference, Jeong I-seo also showed an exceptional passion for building the character. He said, "I used as much imagination as possible to visually express the use of the brainwashing ability," and added, "I researched various eye expressions and vocal tones to create a highly complete character."
Jeong I-seo has demonstrated her acting in major works such as the film Parasite, Decision to Leave, the drama "All of Us Are Dead," and the film Killers Are Lonely. <
