Musical actors Kim Hwan-hee and Choi Min-woo are getting married.
Choi Min-woo and Kim Hwan-hee announced their marriage on their social media on the 14th. The two plan to sound the wedding march on the 18th.
First, Choi Min-woo announced the marriage, saying, "Having met a partner to share life with on the stage that felt most like a fairy tale, on May 18 we will now take our first step together as a married couple."
Choi Min-woo said, "Some of you may be surprised by the sudden news, but if you cheer for and bless the first step of the second act of my life, that step will feel warmer," asking for much support.
Kim Hwan-hee said, "On May 18, I will begin the second act of my life. Everyone, I am getting married," adding, "I was certain, 'If I spend my life with this person, worries would become an enjoyable process,' and I felt that I could dream of the 'love' I consider most important in the same way and create a beautiful and healthy life based on our own values rather than perfection, so I will bear the fruit of love with the person who made me feel that way."
Kim Hwan-hee also apologized for the sudden announcement of the marriage and added, "If you bless this beginning and join us with joyful hearts, we will be extremely happy. I pray that you always stay healthy and that peace fill your homes. With your continued support and love, I will return with diverse and good works through good acting, singing and movement."
Born in 1992, Choi Min-woo and born in 1991, Kim Hwan-hee formed their relationship through works such as "Disney in Concert: Beyond the Magic." In response to the marriage news the two shared, an acquaintance commented, "Seeing them together at church, I thought this news would come someday; congratulations," blessing their future.
Choi Min-woo debuted in 2017 in the musical "Les Misérables: Two Men's Story" and appeared in Love Rides the Rain, Edgar Allan Poe, Myeongdong Romance, The Last Statement, The Man Who Sold His Shadow, Mama Don't Crang, Dwarfs, The Three Musketeers, Zorro: Actor Musician, Gutenberg, Hook and Letters for You.
Kim Hwan-hee debuted in 2015 in the musical "Fantasia" and appeared in Tomorrow Morning, The House of Bernarda Alba, The Little Prince, Murderer, Big Fish, Kinky Boots, Four Minutes, Hadestown, Jekyll & Hyde, Laika and Dracula.
