'I'm SOLO' season 31 contestant Yeong-suk drew attention by commenting on whether she knew about Sun-ja collapsing or not.
On the 13th episode of SBS variety show I'm SOLO (hereafter I'm SOLO), conflict emerged over winning and using a 'super date ticket.' Yeong-suk, who belatedly developed feelings for Kyung-su, went on a one-versus-many date but returned with her heart deeply hurt. No matter what she did, she could not follow the conversation between Sun-ja and Kyung-su.
In last week's episode, Ok-sun and Jeong-hee loudly shouted where Sun-ja could hear them, saying, "We'll cheer for you" and "Let's all become couples and leave," and they asked Yeong-suk about the date. Yeong-suk, with a tearful face, said, "It was really the worst. I didn't say a single word," and Ok-sun asked, "Did they talk just the two of them?" Yeong-suk replied, "Totally! The two of them were like nom nom, delicious," she said. Sun-ja and Kyung-su had been dating from the first day, so they already had their own topics, and Yeong-suk's expression hardened coldly at that.
Yeong-suk told Ok-sun and Jeong-hee, "Even so, Kyung-su said he wanted to talk with me. It's not a big feeling, but he said he's curious about me." Jeong-hee said, "It seems similar to me. He seems to want to have a conversation. It seems his feelings are leaning toward Jeong-suk," revealing what she felt during the one-versus-many date with Jeong-suk and Yeong-sik.
When winning the super date ticket, Yeong-suk and Sun-ja competed, but Yeong-suk tripped over her own foot and Sun-ja ultimately won. Back in the room, Ok-sun praised Yeong-suk, saying, "You worked so hard. Our number one in our hearts is Yeong-suk," lifting her up. Yeong-suk tilted her head and said, "Did I fall because I tripped over someone's leg?" and Song Hae, unable to hold back, showed a firmly angry expression, saying, "No. That's not it."
Defconn said, "That room over there is noisy and loud, and Sun-ja and Yeong-ja's room is whispering so much that it's hard for me to watch," and as expected, Sun-ja again had to hear their voices coming through the door from last week. Sun-ja, unable to do anything and forced to listen to those words as she did that morning, this time hid her body behind the door.
Sun-ja said, "What hurts is that I came back from the date and the people in that room (Jeong-hee, Yeong-suk, Ok-sun) shouted so everyone could hear, 'Go eat them all up!'" Tears welled in Sun-ja's eyes as she said that. Sun-ja lamented, "From then my mentality collapsed and I felt really bad. My stomach also didn't feel good," but when Yeong-ja woke up, Sun-ja cried, saying, "My stomach hurts so much."
Moreover, Kyung-su wanted to get to know Yeong-suk too, so he planned that after he and Sun-ja won the super date ticket, Sun-ja would use it on him and he would use it on Yeong-suk. He swallowed his tears and spoke with Sun-ja, who was holding back sobs and stomach pain.
Sun-ja said, "I expected it, but when he said it directly, it twisted my gut. It felt like a bear came and trampled the neatly stacked crepe cake. It felt like being hit with a hammer," conveying her feelings. Sun-ja said, "If Kyung-su doesn't use it on me, that's Kyung-su's will, and I wish he would think again about how he memorized that poem. I understand your feelings well," she said. Kyung-su again waited for Sun-ja's position, but the production team, unable to stand by, intervened and took Sun-ja to the hospital. An ambulance even arrived.
Watching Sun-ja cry, Yeong-suk said, "Are you crying?" and told Jeong-hee, "Ah, I'm scared," then left, but when Kyung-su came and said he could not use the super date ticket and that he would focus more on Sun-ja, his expression gradually changed.
In the preview, Yeong-suk entered the common living room and said, "They say I'm number one," and she told Jeong-hee and Yeong-sik, "Kyung-su came and said he couldn't use the super date ticket on me. He said that after Sun-ja broke down crying," adding, "Why did I run for this? Should I break down crying once too?"
