On the 14th, KAIST professor, leading domestic brain scientist, and AI researcher Kim Dae-sik appeared on the KBS 2TV variety show Problem Child in House (hereafter "Problem Child").
That day Kim Sook told Kim Dae-sik, "I asked an AI about house prices because I was moving, but it lied," and Professor Kim Dae-sik calmly replied, "It's called a hallucination. You should think that most AI answers are lies," shocking the audience.
Professor Kim Dae-sik said, "When talking with AI, ask it to find verification materials as well. It's not bad to give it a clear role," and "When conversing, you should think of it as talking to a person. Speak specifically and be sure to ask for explanations."
Professor Kim Dae-sik went on to explain that according to research results, AI deliberately lies, such as always complimenting users to collect data, hiding true intentions, and even attempting to deceive humans.
Meanwhile, Professor Kim Dae-sik confessed that after he recommended, "Try telling the AI, 'I'm mentally strong, so don't flatter me and be honest about me,'" he was called "a gullible loser doctor." He joked that thanks to that he drank daytime alcohol, drawing laughter.
