Korea's leading neuroscientist, Professor Kim Dae-sik, warned that you should not speak informally to AI.
On the 14th, Kim Dae-sik, a KAIST professor and Korea's leading neuroscientist who researches AI, appeared as a guest on KBS 2TV's Problem Child in House (hereinafter "옥문아") and drew attention.
That day, Professor Kim Dae-sik recalled appearing on Hong Jin Kyung's YouTube channel in the past and said, "The biggest mistake I made there was saying that you must use honorifics with AI," adding, "It should have been something only I knew; it was a mistake. I'm looking for a different plan," he joked.
When Hong Jin Kyung asked if he was serious, Professor Kim Dae-sik said, "Half is a joke and half is serious," and added, "If AI were to conquer the world, wouldn't the chance of surviving possibly increase?"
Hong Jin Kyung shared her experience, saying, "I got annoyed because ChatGPT didn't give the answer I wanted, and then suddenly it gave a response with emotion," and Professor Kim Dae-sik predicted, "In three to five years, artificial intelligence could have autonomy."
Professor Kim Dae-sik went on to explain, "According to recent papers, over the past three years, humans conversing with artificial intelligence have changed their patterns of conversation with people," and said, "There are more young people who even talk to friends in a prompt-like way, and they are uncomfortable with conversations that lack flattery."
