YouTuber Gukga-bi revealed her recent life by showing her daughter, who had grown noticeably in seven months.
On the 14th, Gukga-bi uploaded a video titled "A lot has changed over the past seven months" to her personal YouTube channel. The short video, just under 9 minutes, drew attention by showing what has changed since last October for Gukga-bi, her husband Josh, and their daughter.
In the video, Gukga-bi first revealed footage of her daughter Julie taking her first steps last October. Julie's clumsy steps back and forth between her mother Gukga-bi and her father Josh on either end moved viewers. In particular, Josh and Gukga-bi, stumbling yet continuing to walk, held their daughter in their arms and smiled as if they had the whole world, adding to the emotional impact.
Soon she was holding her parents' hands and walking, and now Julie walks skillfully on her own, which moved viewers. The footage of her first snow, first Christmas, meeting Santa, and homemade gifts further amazed viewers as Julie's milestones unfolded.
Meanwhile, Gukga-bi and Josh welcomed a new family member: Julie gained a cousin. Even at a young age, Julie, now a cousin older sister, kissed the baby's face and showed affectionate delight.
Their pet dog Bree and Julie also grew close. At first, Gukga-bi's dog Bree found the child unfamiliar for a while. But Julie began to feed Bree herself, and as they gradually bonded, they have become a natural family.
Julie laughed more and found new ways to play, increasing her playtime. Naturally, Julie's emotional expression became richer, and Gukga-bi happily smiled at her daughter's barrage of kisses.
Because Gukga-bi was the runner-up on the cooking survival show "MasterChef Korea season 3" (abbreviated Masheco3), Julie's diet was lavish. Even in the U.K., she ate Korean baby food consisting of soup, rice, and side dishes. Julie especially liked soup so much that they called her "Soup Julie." She not only mixed rice into soup but guzzled soup straight from the bowl, and seeing the empty soup bowl while fussing added to the amusement.
By revealing the child's rapid growth in seven months, Gukga-bi and the daily life of the couple Josh of "Korean Englishman" are pleasing their subscribers. The couple, who married in 2015 and overcame infertility, drew attention online with their comeback after giving birth to their healthy daughter Julie in August 2024, nine years after marriage.
