Model Han Hye-jin revealed why she hadn't been able to see the film 'The King's Warden'.
On the 13th, a video titled "I prepared a meal friend and a dishwashing friend!" was uploaded to Han Hye-jin's YouTube channel.
In the video that day, Han Hye-jin's close friends Pungja and Um Ji-yoon visited a villa in Hongcheon and spent time together. Then Han Hye-jin opened with "Have you guys seen that?", and Um Ji-yoon replied, "Salmokji?"
In response, Han Hye-jin asked, "Is 'Salmokji: Whispering Water' hot these days? Have you seen it?", and Pungja confessed, "I haven't. I can't watch scary stuff." Han Hye-jin agreed, "I can't either," and Um Ji-yoon said, "It's really scary," giving her review of 'Salmokji: Whispering Water'.
Then Han Hye-jin said, "I haven't even seen that," revealing she still hadn't seen the film 'The King's Warden.' Pungja scolded, "You should watch that," and Um Ji-yoon snapped, "Not watching 'The King's Warden' is upsetting as a descendant of Eom Heung-do. I cried as soon as it started."
Hearing this, Han Hye-jin timidly confessed, "Well... as a descendant of Han Myeong-hoe I couldn't bring myself to watch it," producing a twist. The mood immediately turned chilly at Han Hye-jin's remark, and Um Ji-yoon stood up saying, "We have to fight about this today," putting herself in fighting stance, which drew laughter.
Pungja said, "This sister is saying this because she hasn't seen the movie right now," and Han Hye-jin explained, "No, it's because this is history, so even if I don't watch it I already know the content," and said, "I'll watch The King's Warden when it comes out on VOD." Later, as soon as filming ended Han Hye-jin posted a verification photo showing she watched 'The King's Warden' until dawn, ending the controversy.
