BOYNEXTDOOR sparked a full-fledged comeback sign by heating up global short-form platforms with their new song "Knock Knock Knock."
The pre-release track "Knock Knock Knock" from BOYNEXTDOOR's first full-length album HOME, released on the 11th, surpassed about 18,000 videos using the track on TikTok as of 8 a.m. on the 14th. That means in less than four full days since release, short-form content was being created at a rate of roughly eight per minute. It also proved its strong buzz by ranking 19th on Instagram Reels' rising audio chart as of the 13th.
The secret to capturing global fans is undoubtedly the song's strong addictiveness. Starting with a familiar doorbell sound in the intro, the chorus—"Knock Knock Knock BND coming at your door," "RSVP"—repeats in a sticky way that perfectly matches short-form trends. This hip-hop song, about six uninvited guests suddenly visiting upon discharge, contains BOYNEXTDOOR's bold declaration ahead of the release of their first full-length album.
Music chart performance is also encouraging. On the 12th, it ranked 36th on Spotify Korea's daily top songs; on the 13th, it ranked 28th on Japan's Line Music Daily New Song Top 100; and it landed at 80th on China's QQ Music new song chart, demonstrating presence across Asia.
Heat for the music video is also fierce. After rising to No. 1 on YouTube's daily popular music videos on the 11th, the video surpassed 4 million views within two days of release, showing an unstoppable upward trend. Riding that momentum, BOYNEXTDOOR will appear on Mnet's M Countdown today (the 14th) to perform "Knock Knock Knock" for their first music show stage. Having foreshadowed precise synchronized choreography and strong charisma through a performance video, attention is focused on the energy they will unleash on stage.
Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR's first full-length album HOME, which densely reflects the members' past time and honest emotions, will be officially released on June 8.
