The group Monsta X celebrates its 11th debut anniversary today (14th) with a special day with fans.
Monsta X revealed an 11th anniversary congratulatory image at midnight on the 14th on the global fan platform Berriz containing heartfelt handwritten letters to their fan club "Monbebe." Later, at 7 p.m. today they will hold an "11th anniversary live" on their official YouTube channel, and in addition they plan to present a variety of exclusive content for fans to make the debut anniversary meaningful.
Monsta X debuted on May 14, 2015, with mini album 1st 'TRESPASS' and over the past 11 years has run without rest, showing the archetype of a "current" global idol. With the album 'THE X' released last September, they proved an unlimited musical spectrum and trendiness, and they continue to show hot ticket power. The world tour that opened in Seoul earlier this year, '2026 Monsta X world tour [The X: Nexus],' went through Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei and Jakarta and is currently holding a successful Japan tour. Furthermore, they are preparing tours in 10 South American cities in June and 10 North American cities in October, raising expectations among fans around the world to a peak.
Their dazzling achievements on global charts are also noteworthy. With the U.S. full-length album 3rd 'Unfold (언폴드)' released in April, they set the rare record of being the first K-pop artist to hold three U.S. full-length albums, and all three albums they released entered the Billboard 200 chart. Strong individual and unit activities are also their strengths. In January, Jooheon revealed singular energy with his solo mini album 2nd '光 (INSANITY),' and on the 21st the only unit Shownu X Hyungwon will make a comeback with a deeper sensibility. The youngest, IM, is currently serving as an active-duty soldier in the army and is scheduled to be discharged in August 2027.
