The group CORTIS is dominating global charts.
BigHit Music said on the 13th, According to the latest U.S. Billboard charts released on the 12th (dated May 16), CORTIS's "REDRED" entered the Bubbling Under Hot 100 at No. 17.
With this, CORTIS has also made the Bubbling Under Hot 100 about nine months after debuting in August of last year. This is more significant as it is the first charting achievement among K-pop boy groups that debuted within the past five years.
The Bubbling Under Hot 100 shows up to 25 songs that did not enter Billboard's main song chart, the Hot 100, so it is also a meaningful achievement that CORTIS reached the threshold of entering the Hot 100 in less than a year since debut.
Also, CORTIS's "REDRED" proved its rising trend by ranking No. 43 on the Global 200 and No. 24 on the Global Excl. U.S., and "GREENGREEN" rose to No. 8 on the World Albums chart.
"REDRED" is the title track of CORTIS's second full-length album "GREENGREEN," released on the 4th, and the song juxtaposes what CORTIS wants as "green" and what it wants to avoid as "red."
