Oh My Girl member Hyojung showed off a fresh first-love visual, raising anticipation for her solo comeback.
Hyojung's digital single "Purple Note" will be officially released at 6 p.m. on the 21st across music streaming sites, and on the 12th the Oh My Girl official SNS posted the first concept photo for the digital single "Purple Note" (퍼플노트), capturing fans' attention.
In the released photos, Hyojung wore a neat school uniform and perfectly pulled off a ponytail hairstyle, evoking a fresh sensibility. The warm sunlight streaming through the classroom window combined with Hyojung's characteristic bright smile created a thrill like a scene from a youth film.
The single's title, "Purple Note," is made more special because it contains memories from Hyojung's actual high school days.
"Purple Note" is a title inspired by the name of the band club in which Hyojung performed as a vocalist during high school. Through this song, Hyojung plans to revisit her musical starting point and convey a sincere message.
As soon as the photos reminiscent of Hyojung's actual school days were released, fans responded enthusiastically, and curiosity about the second concept photo to be released later is growing.
This is Hyojung's first time releasing a new song as a solo artist in about 1 year and 5 months since the special single "Christmas Night Train" in December 2024. Known for her smooth vocal tone, Hyojung is expected to showcase a deeper emotionality and an expanded musical spectrum through this promotion.<
