The group BOYNEXTDOOR delivered a powerful twist of charm and truly targeted global fans with their new song "Ddok Ddok Ddok."
BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Liu, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Ihan, Unhak)'s first full-length album HOME is set to be officially released at 6 p.m. on June 8, and on the 12th at 6 p.m., the performance video for the pre-release track "Ddok Ddok Ddok" from the first full-length album HOME was dramatically released through the HYBE Labels official YouTube channel.
In this performance video, BOYNEXTDOOR projected a sharp charisma that contrasted with their familiar "next-door boys" image. Their choreography, set against abandoned buildings and open lots, delivers an overwhelming sense of immersion.
In particular, the way the song title "Ddok Ddok Ddok," repeated in each chorus, is expressed through intuitive yet varied knocking motions draws attention. The precise, disciplined group dance that highlights the perfect harmony of the six members, combined with dynamic camera work, maximized the visual pleasure.
The "Ddok Ddok Ddok" music video rose to No. 1 on YouTube's daily trending music video chart immediately after its release, and the song is also maintaining a top position on the rising music charts.
As of the morning of the 13th, it ranked on iTunes "Top Songs" charts in eight countries/regions including Japan, Thailand, Nigeria and Türkiye, and it is showing a steep rise on major domestic and international charts such as Melon's "Top 100" at No. 52 and Japan Line Music's daily chart at No. 28.
BOYNEXTDOOR will launch full-scale music show activities from this week to continue the momentum. In particular, they will appear on major university festival stages to interact with fans in person at Gachon University and KANGNAM UNIVERSITY on the 13th and at Yonsei University on the 17th.
