Tag, formerly of the group Golden Child, will make a fresh start under the new stage name Universe.
Tag announced the new stage name Universe on his official channel on the 12th.
Along with this, he released a coming soon poster and announced a new start as a solo artist. The poster conveyed a dreamy yet lonely atmosphere, and the black-and-white tone heightened curiosity about Tag embarking on a new beginning as Universe.
Tag debuted in 2019 as Golden Child's main rapper. He has consistently participated in team album work, including contributing his first self-composed song "OASIS" to the full-length second album DDARA, and in March he wrote lyrics and composed the new song "Byeolnamu" by Lee Dae-yeol, formerly of Golden Child.
Tag, making a fresh start as Universe, will release a new song at 6 p.m. on the 29th.
