In episode 5, which aired at 10 p.m. on the 12th, new female resident Choi Soyoon joined, injecting tension. Choi Soyoon, a 26-year-old freelance graphic designer, appeared showing bold charm by saying "I decide my type in three seconds" and immediately picked Park Woo-yeol as her first date, surprising everyone.
On her date with Park Woo-yeol, Choi Soyoon showed an unreserved, straight-forward approach, even suggesting "let's drop honorifics," and the two continued a rapid-fire, 'tiki-taka' conversation, forming a high-speed love line that had them texting each other from the first day.
Meanwhile, Kang Yu-gyeong, who had enjoyed a date with Park Woo-yeol the previous day, faced a crisis. She had promised a 'movie date' while carpooling in the morning, but after Choi Soyoon's arrival she felt uneasy about Park Woo-yeol's attitude and eventually broke down in tears.
