Flare U's Choi Rip-woo mentioned TWICE as the group he would like to film a challenge with.
On the 13th, at Bluesquare WOOri WON Banking Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, a media showcase commemorating the release of the group Flare U (FLARE U)'s debut album "YOUTH ERROR" was held.
Flare U is a duo group composed of Choi Rip-woo and Kang Woo-jin, who were recognized for their skill and potential through last year's Mnet "Boys 2 Planet." The two showed exceptional teamwork throughout the program, received much love from fans, and now meet as a team to create synergy.
The debut album "YOUTH ERROR" is an album that records two youths who are wrong, fall and have different errors. Through this album, Flare U plans to clearly show their unique youthful energy and performance color. The title track "WAY 2 U" is a hybrid pop song that combines a bouncy pluck riff and upbeat rhythm with the glitch sound of hyper pop and a rhythmic groove.
When asked that day who they would like to film a challenge with after their debut, Choi Rip-woo said, "I'm a little embarrassed, but as fans know, I am a fan of senior group TWICE, and I've liked them since I was a student," and opened up, "If I could film with senior group TWICE, I would feel like I succeeded."
He continued, "And I want to do it with the friends I did Boys Planet with, and I want to film a challenge with our company's general manager Han Seong-ho," drawing laughter at the scene.
Kang Woo-jin added, "I'm actually similar to hyung; I want to film a challenge with the staff, but I want to film it with the fans."
Meanwhile, Flare U will release their debut album "YOUTH ERROR" today (the 13th) at 6 p.m.
