On the 13th episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' (hereafter 'You Quiz'), the hopeful planner for retirement, PD Kim Min-sik, appeared. PD Kim Min-sik, who left MBC in 2020, directed New Nonstop and The Queen of Housewives. As a producer, he said he lacked scale, and he left the company amid job changes and restructuring.
In terms of pensions, he already designed a pension investment of 3,000,000 won in his early 30s. Afterwards, unable to use his major, he studied English, wrote an English study book, and writes on his blog every day while giving writing lectures. PD Kim Min-sik said, "I was asked to give career talks at middle and high schools," and noted, "The kids ask, 'Are you more successful than PD Na Young-seok or PD Kim Tae-ho?' The kids' questions hit hard."
He said, "The kids say those people are doing better than me. They are doing much better. Those people went abroad to film Youn's Kitchen 2. They don't have time to come here and give career talks," he said. PD Kim Min-sik said, "There are shaky people at broadcasting stations: low ratings, poor ad sales, exceeded production costs — the three-grand slam of triple evils. There are such idle producers.
