Singer and broadcaster Kim Jong Kook compared Choo Sung Hoon to an animal.
In the Dec. 12 broadcast of the SBS Plus variety show "A tough man's way of traveling in Kyushu" finale, Choo Sung Hoon·Kim Jong Kook·Daesung were shown spending time in the hot springs of a five-star ryokan.
That day Kim Jong Kook, saying "I always eat breakfast," tasted the breakfast in place of Choo Sung Hoon and Daesung, who had not even woken up yet. He lamented, "I should eat like this and then work out, but it's a shame there is no gym."
After learning the ryokan had no gym the previous day, Kim Jong Kook expressed great disappointment, saying, "The five-star standard is different from Korea," and Choo Sung Hoon introduced Kim Jong Kook to a staff member as a "workout fool," drawing laughter.
After Kim Jong Kook finished his breakfast, Choo Sung Hoon, Daesung and Kim Jong Kook all headed to the hot springs. Choo Sung Hoon entered the water with his upper body bare, showing off his muscular physique.
Later, when someone walked past beside the hot spring, Choo Sung Hoon sprang up and stared, causing embarrassment. Kim Jong Kook and Daesung hurriedly tried to stop him, asking in surprise, "Why are you like that?"
Choo Sung Hoon said, "Someone walked by in front," and Kim Jong Kook replied, "Are you going to stand up every time someone passes by?" adding, "Sometimes you're not a person but an animal. When dogs are walked and another dog passes by, they stop and stay alert, don't they?" which added to the laughter. <
