HYBE-Geffen Records' new girl group Saint Satine (SAINT SATINE) has finalized its four final members.
On the 12th, episode 12 of 'World Scout: The Final Piece,' which was released through Japan's OTT platform Ameba, confirmed the four final members of Saint Satine. Japanese contestant Sakura overcame competition of 14,000 to 1 to join as a final member.
Thus, Saint Satine was finalized as a four-member group with Emily (United States) and Lexi (Sweden), Samara (Brazil), who are alumni of The Debut: Dream Academy that produced the global girl group KATSEYE, followed by Sakura.
On the final stage, Sakura joined the three members already confirmed as debut members on stage and performed the new song "PARTY b4 the PARTY." Showing confidence and composure throughout, Sakura received favorable evaluations from the judges.
Son Seong-deuk, HxG chief creator, said, "When Sakura pushed forward, I felt a thrill. It seems she not only has star quality but has reached a level where she can unleash it."
Good evaluations also continued for Ayana, who had appeared on the final audition stage with Sakura, and the judges' deliberation inevitably deepened. In the end, Sakura was called as a final member. Sakura burst into tears and said, "I wanted to be an artist who shines on the world stage. I am so grateful to have my dream come true."
At the end of the broadcast, expectations rose as the new HYBE-Geffen Records girl group name Saint Satine, following KATSEYE, was revealed.
