'Radio Star' Seo Kyung-seok revealed the method for conducting lottery drawings.
On the 13th episode of MBC variety show 'Radio Star' (hereafter 'Ras'), Seo Kyung-seok, Choi Tae-seong, Kim Sung-eun and Hwang Min-ho appeared as part of the 'Teachers' Day passionate priests' special.

Seo Kyung-seok, who has been conducting live lottery drawings for eight years, said, "People ask, 'When is the recording?' but it's done live. Because of that, people think of me as a good-luck charm, and when they meet me they hold my hand and then buy lottery tickets with the hand they held."
Kim Gu Ra asked how many minutes the broadcast lasts, and Seo Kyung-seok revealed, "It goes for about seven minutes. We do two rehearsals three hours before the broadcast. Once a month we also do an accident prevention drill," drawing attention.
Seo Kyung-seok explained, "If by any chance the machine malfunctions, wouldn't that be a big problem? We train for multiple contingencies. If it breaks, we redraw with the backup drawing machine. Balls drawn before the malfunction are recognized as winning balls. If the backup drawing machine breaks, then one of the preselected observers puts on a blindfold and draws by hand."
Because it is conducted live, they prepare for every contingency. Seo Kyung-seok added, "Before drawing, you know the drawing balls. We weigh each one. Just in case a ball is underweight and something goes wrong," adding to the surprise.
