An exhibition commemorating actress Park Boyoung's 20th anniversary since her debut will be held.
According to her agency BH Entertainment on the 13th, a special photo exhibition commemorating Park Boyoung's 20th anniversary, "Somewhere in between," will be held from May 25 to May 31 at Platz2, a complex cultural space located in Seongsu-dong.
This exhibition is a project that, together with photographer Mok Jung‑uk and fashion magazine Marie Claire, captures the time actress Park Boyoung has spent being loved by the public for a long time and the stories that are not yet finished.
The exhibition title, "Somewhere in between," started from the feeling about time that even Park Boyoung herself cannot define—whether, as she marks 20 years of acting, she is still at the beginning of the journey, has already reached the middle, or is standing before another turning point with the end approaching.
Especially ahead of this exhibition, Park Boyoung explained the reason for holding it, saying she wanted to calmly share the times and records she has gone through with visitors rather than a flashy event. She added the reason she wanted to include scripts and objects she has kept for a long time in the exhibition is to show the "time walked together."
Park Boyoung explained that she thought of this moment as somewhere in the middle of continuing to walk rather than assigning a special meaning to one phase of her life or her life as an actress, and that the theme naturally followed.
Accordingly, the exhibition plans to present not only familiar images from her work but also more natural and candid moments, leaving a deep resonance for fans and visitors. All proceeds from this exhibition will be donated in full, as a meaningful way to repay the fans who have given consistent love for a long time, she said.
Meanwhile, Park Boyoung debuted in 2006 through the EBS drama "Secret Campus," and has appeared in the films "Speed Scandal," "A Werewolf Boy," "Hot Young Bloods," "The Age of Blood," "Be With You," "Concrete Utopia," the dramas "The King and I," "Oh My Ghost," "Strong Woman Do Bong‑soon," "Abyss," "Daily Dose of Sunshine," "Light Shop," "Melo Movie," and "Our Unwritten Seoul," among others. Park Boyoung is also currently meeting viewers through Gold Land on Disney+.
