'Boys 2 Planet' first derivative group Flare U makes its debut.
On the 13th, at Bluesequare Woori WON Banking Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, a media showcase was held to celebrate the release of the group Flare U's (FLARE U) debut album 'YOUTH ERROR'.
Flare U is a duo group composed of Choi Lip-woo and Kang Woo-jin, who were recognized for their skill and potential through last year's Mnet 'Boys 2 Planet'.
The team name Flare U means the moment two sparkles meet to form one light; it conveys that two people with their own colors and temperatures shine more brightly together and become complete when with their fans. The two showed exceptional teamwork throughout the program's broadcast, received much love from fans, and demonstrate synergy when they meet as a team.
On the day, Choi Lip-woo spoke about his debut, saying, "I am now Flare U's Choi Lip-woo. After debuting as a solo artist, I am excited and thrilled to be able to show a new side of myself as part of a group. I want to work hard as much as the support I have received." Kang Woo-jin also said, "I am happy and excited to be able to make the debut I have always dreamed of. I will do my best today."
Kang Woo-jin explained the debut album 'YOUTH ERROR' by saying, "It is an album that contains the stories of two youths who are wrong, fall, and have different errors. It carries the meaning that Choi Lip-woo and Kang Woo-jin meet as a team, complement each other, and shine as one light."
Meanwhile, Flare U releases their debut album 'YOUTH ERROR' today (the 13th) at 6 p.m.
