Actors Jun Ji-hyun and Kim Shin-rock showed off their same-age chemistry.
On the 12th, SHOWBOX's official channel uploaded a video titled "If someone asks about 'chemistry,' lift your head and look at team "Gunch'e" | [I'll take care of the gunch'e, who will get the vaccine?] EP.01".
In the video, the lead actors of the film "Gunch'e" (director Yeon Sang-ho) Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Changwook, Shin Hyun-been, and Kim Shin-rock appeared as guests and talked about the work.
That day the PD asked, "How was the atmosphere on set, and who acted as the mood maker?" In response, Kim Shin-rock said, "First of all, director Yeon Sang-ho's set is a feast of episodes. Director Yeon Sang-ho is very funny," conveying the warm atmosphere on set.
She continued, "If I had to pick among the people here, viewers would probably think it's Koo Kyo-hwan, but surprisingly the real intense one is Jun Ji-hyun. With the energy of a high school girl she really livens up the set. And she brings a lot of delicious food. So we take turns (feeding each other)," sharing a surprising charm that drew attention.
Then Jun Ji-hyun expressed concern toward Kim Shin-rock, saying, "No, you're too thin.." Earlier, Kim Shin-rock had said she lost weight because the role in "Gunch'e" required Ji Changwook to carry her on his back.
In response, Kim Shin-rock said, "(Jun Ji-hyun) told me to eat (and gave it to me)," showing attentive care, and Jun Ji-hyun explained the reason she brought food to set, saying, "I was worried our Shin-rock might be so thin she would collapse. I took good care of her."
Meanwhile, Yeon Sang-ho's new film "Gunch'e," starring Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Changwook, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rock and Go Soo, opens in theaters on the 21st.
