Trot singer the late Hae-su has been gone to the afterlife for three years.
The late Hae-su was found dead in her lodging on May 12, 2023. Her real name was Kim A-ra, and she died at the age of 29. At the time, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul said it found a note presumed to have been written by the deceased and handed it to the family.
Just hours before her death, the late Hae-su had shared verification photos of gifts from fans on her social media, but in the end she passed away.
In particular, three days before her death, on May 9, 2023, the late Hae-su left a message on her fan café saying "fighting today too!" while communicating with fans. Shortly before her death, she also fulfilled a schedule on KBS Busan's "Morning Yard."
But a few hours later she suddenly passed away. The late Hae-su's side officially confirmed the death three days after reports of her death appeared, posting on the fan café, "On May 12, Hae-su left our side and became the light of the wide sea," formalizing her death.
At the sudden farewell, Jang Yoon Jeong, who had publicly supported the late Hae-su on various broadcasts and stages, said she was heartbroken, saying "I had a painful farewell with Hae-su, whom I loved so much," and "I embraced her with the heart of a mother bird who wants her to be loved in my nest, heal her wounds and flap her wings brilliantly and fly away, but I let her go," expressing her sorrow.
She continued, "Hae-su, why did you do that? I won't scold you, so please come to my dreams just once, I want to see you," and "Go ahead and set up the drinking table. When I arrive where you are later, let's have fun without delay!! I love you, Hae-su. I won't forget you. May the deceased rest in peace," a message that moved many.
Hae-su, from Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, came from Joo Hyun-mi's fan club and realized her dream of becoming a trot singer. She debuted on Nov. 28, 2019, with the mini album "My life, me," and in Dec. 2019 she appeared as a junior on MBC's "How Do You Play?" when Yu Jae-seok was active as his alter ego Yoo San-seul.
