TWICE member Jeongyeon has attracted attention by revealing recent photos that boast a refreshed beauty that could reopen her heyday.
On the 11th Jeongyeon shared updates from Japan on her social media. In the released photos, Jeongyeon caught the eye as she showed off a healthy, slimmer body line in various locations. In particular, she looked perfectly successful in dieting to the extent that the appearance of weight gain she had experienced as a side effect of steroids, after briefly halting activities because of past health problems, could not be found.
She emitted an innocent charm with a high ponytail hairstyle and dewy makeup, and at times evoked a mature atmosphere posing with long straight hair while applying cosmetics. She also perfectly pulled off various styles, such as squatting while wearing a bucket hat or pairing a white dress with a pink cardigan, showcasing a sharper jawline and distinct facial features.
Jeongyeon's features, which became even more distinct as she lost weight, drew fans' admiration with an actress-like beauty and aura. Fans are sending warm support to Jeongyeon, who overcame a difficult time and returned in a healthy and beautiful state.
In 2020 Jeongyeon experienced side effects such as weight gain from Cushing's syndrome while taking steroids for cervical disc treatment. Earlier, Jeongyeon teared up during an interview related to her older sister, actress Gong Seung-yeon, saying "It was a time when I was mentally having a hard time."
Jeongyeon's next move, returning in a healthy state in both body and mind, is expected to be "actress." Recently, a person involved with the film New Recruit: The Movie (director Min Jin-gi) officially told OSEN that they had offered Jeongyeon the role of a nurse officer in the film and that both sides are positively reviewing it.
New Recruit: The Movie is a film adaptation of the New Recruit series, a drama that received great love on ENA. Director Min Jin-gi again takes the helm, and following the drama, the story expands the world from the existing military base setting to unfold against the backdrop of a military hospital.
Through this work Jeongyeon will challenge screen acting for the first time in 10 years since TWICE's debut.<
