The group fromis_9 will make a comeback this summer with a full-length album, aiming directly for the "summer queen" title.
fromis_9 (Song Ha-young, Park Gee-won, Lee Chae-young, Lee Na-kyung, Baek Ji-heon) will return in July, OSEN reported on the 12th.
The agency Ascend said, "fromis_9 will make a comeback in July with a full-length album. Since they are returning with a full-length album after a long time, we are pouring our heart and soul into releasing a highly complete album. Please look forward to the new record that will contain fromis_9's unique energy and color."
fromis_9 have a deep connection with summer. Their EP From Our Memento Box, released on June 27, 2022, and its title track Stay this way earned them a first-place win on terrestrial music shows and a total of five music show trophies, and their single Supersonic, released on Aug. 12, 2024, and its same-titled title track earned them four music show trophies.
After changing agencies and reorganizing as a five-member group, the EP From Our 20's and its title track LIKE YOU BETTER also showed their strength by earning a music show first-place and placing in the top ranks of the Melon top 100 chart for three consecutive weeks, proving the bond between fromis_9 and summer.
Not only summer. fromis_9 scored their best-ever performance and matched their highest record by reaching No. 5 on the Melon top 100 chart with the remake single "White longing" released last December, and they topped KBS2 MUSIC BANK and MBC Show! Music Core, and ranked first on SBS Inkigayo's weekly hot stage.
With clear achievements in the music industry like these, fromis_9 will return with a full-length album for the first time in three years. Having shown musical colors and presence through various albums and activities, attention is focused on what achievements fromis_9 will achieve in summer 2026.
