Actor and singer Nana expressed strong anger toward ticket scalping transactions. In particular, it became known that the revenue from the event she is hosting will be used for public good, and fans' support has continued.
On the 12th, Nana publicly warned on her social media, "I will not buy scalped tickets. Cancel the transaction again. Transfer is absolutely not allowed." She added, "Are the scalpers watching? I am watching with both eyes wide open," showing a firm stance.
In particular, she even directly shared a fan's post and expressed solidarity. The post contained the message, "Please never buy tickets from scalpers. All the revenue from the event Nana held will be used for public good."
Because it was an event with a good cause, not just a simple fan meeting or event, it seems she could no longer stand by and watch ticket scalping transactions. Fans also supported Nana, responding, "This feels really refreshing," "Scalpers must disappear," and "It was a public benefit event, but reselling was too extreme."
Meanwhile, Nana debuted with After School in 2009 and continued activities with Orange Caramel, showing a unique presence. Recently she has also transformed into a solo artist, participating directly in album production and producing, and her musical abilities have been recognized.
She has also continued her acting career steadily. Starting with the drama The Good Wife, she has appeared in a variety of works including Kill It, Justice, Exit, Glitch, and Mask Girl, and has expanded her filmography with movies.
She has been active in films such as The Swindlers, Confession, and Omniscient Reader: The Prophet. Alongside this, she is scheduled to appear in ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama Climax and the Netflix new release Scandal this year. Nana, who continues music, acting and activities for fans, has shown another presence by directly speaking out to eradicate ticket scalping.
