Comedian Lee Kyung-kyu faced renewed speculation about health problems after two years, but his agency dismissed it.

Earlier, on the 7th, the YouTube channel "God Kyung-kyu" invited diabetes specialist Director Lee Hye-min to discuss blood sugar and talked about methods of health management.
Lee Kyung-kyu said, "The war with diabetes began five years ago. My quality of life is completely at the bottom," and added, "There is nothing I can eat. Lunch and dinner are so agonizing," expressing his difficulties.
At that time some netizens claimed that based on the video, Lee Kyung-kyu's way of speaking was clumsy, his reactions were somewhat slow, and his complexion did not look good, suggesting a possible brain disorder and advising him to get a health checkup.
However, Lee Kyung-kyu's side said the health rumors were not true and described it as a temporary decline in condition due to lack of sleep.
Lee Kyung-kyu was also embroiled in health rumors in 2024 over a crease in his earlobe. At that time, Lee Kyung-kyu appeared on You Quiz and directly explained it, saying, "At the end of the year, a viewer who likes me posted a photo. They captured it and said, 'Mr. Lee Kyung-kyu has a crease in his ear, and because of this he is at risk for cerebral hemorrhage or myocardial infarction,'" he said.
Lee Kyung-kyu explained, "I saw that and looked in the mirror and there was a crease in my ear. I was surprised and made a fuss. So I went to a hospital I know and met the doctor and had an MRI. When the results came out, everything was fine. I tell people not to worry too much."
Although health rumors resurfaced after two years, Lee Kyung-kyu's side said there was no particular problem this time either and dismissed the controversy.
