Lee Chaeyeon released an interview video commemorating the release of her mini fourth album Till I Die on the official SNS of her agency DayOneDream on the 11th. In the video, Lee Chaeyeon openly showed her excitement at settling into a new agency and a strengthened inner resolve toward the stage.
The core keyword running through this album Till I Die is "nevertheless." Lee Chaeyeon introduced it as an album that contains a very strong will, saying, "Because I love the stage so, so much, it is an album with a really strong will to die on this stage," and conveyed her extraordinary determination.
She said, "I put in the will not to let go of this stage no matter what hurdle or situation comes. I hope my stage is not remembered only for sadness but feels like a 'leap,'" adding she showed a mature side as an artist.
The title track No Tears On The Dancefloor (NTOTD) was a song Lee Chaeyeon strongly recommended to the company as soon as she heard it. Saying it was "the most suitable song to appear in a new form at a new company," she expressed affection for it and participated directly in creating the choreography for this song to raise its completeness.
Describing herself as a "perfectionist," Lee Chaeyeon said, "Now I change choreography on my own to find angles that look good on screen without anyone teaching me. With more years, I think I've become more seasoned," showing strong confidence as a performer.
She said the reason she was active in various fields such as soccer variety shows and YouTube during her hiatus was also because of her fandom Cherish.
