Seo Kyung-seok reveals the process that led him to challenge the Korean history proficiency test after the certified real estate agent exam. He said he repeatedly listened to lectures by Choi Tae-seong, known as the "god of Korean history lectures," and continued studying, and he also explained the background to starting his own Korean history lectures that organize and teach key points in his own style. In particular, lecture videos that quickly organize concepts right before exams became a hot topic, producing the nickname "Big-Nose Teacher" after "Big Star Teacher" Choi Tae-seong, drawing laughter.
He also reveals the background to appearing as a "new teacher" on the Teacher's Day special. He volunteered to give history lectures for seniors at a welfare center, and "after explaining once and giving them a breather, when I asked again they didn't know," so he started filming lecture videos for the seniors and uploading them to YouTube, which led him to start online Korean history lectures, surprising everyone.
Earlier, Seo Kyung-seok drew attention by taking the certified real estate agent exam in 2020 and passing the following year. He later scored a perfect score on the Korean history proficiency test. He expanded his content by easily explaining events that served as the background for the film, such as Danjong and Sejo, the Gyeyujeongnan coup, and the rebellion of the Six Martyred Ministers.
He mentioned the real father-daughter relationship with his daughter, who has entered puberty, and said, "These days, if I say the wrong thing, it's almost like the Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592 or the Manchu invasion of 1636," making the studio burst into laughter. He also shares an episode about studying idol groups to communicate with his daughter.
To continue conversations with his second-year middle school daughter, Seo Kyung-seok began studying ZEROBASEONE, and he said he ultimately joined the fan club and even attended concerts in person.
