TikTok is unveiling its first original variety show, Tiki Tiki Takataka talk talk show.
The Tiki Tiki Takataka talk talk show, which will be released at 8 p.m. on the 25th, is a battle-style talk variety show that can be enjoyed not only by people who know soccer well but also by those who are not familiar with soccer.
In the Tiki Tiki Takataka talk talk show, there are match result prediction battles, meetings between "soccer experts" and "soccer novices", debates about soccer match foods, and fan talk by stars who are serious about soccer, with each episode pouring out discussions centered on a different theme. Guests appearing according to each episode's concept are expected to unfold knowledge, preferences, and fandom surrounding soccer into lively conversations.
Former national team player Ahn Jung-hwan joins as MC here, adding both expertise and variety show sensibility. As a soccer expert he conveys related knowledge easily and engagingly, and with his witty hosting he anchors the program.
Also DinDin and Lee Eunji join the MC lineup to add energy. DinDin raises the fun of the talk with his characteristic humor and frank talk, and Lee Eunji captures the atmosphere on site with her distinctive character and energy.
Through this program, TikTok plans to further expand soccer into participatory sports entertainment where fans' interpretations, preferences, and cheering culture are blended. Chul Yoon, head of news and sports at TikTok Korea, said the Tiki Taka show is an entertainment program that holds talk battles on soccer issues circulated among sports fans as well as various topics related to soccer, and said TikTok will continue attempts to show the storytelling of sports and the energy of fandom in new ways starting with this original content.
