The group CORTIS set its highest first-week sales record.
BigHit Music said on the 11th, "According to the album tracking site Hanteo Chart, CORTIS's mini album 2 "GREENGREEN" sold a total of 2,313,219 copies from the 4th to the 10th and topped the weekly album chart."
With this, CORTIS has already recorded a double million-seller in first-week sales (sales in the week after release). This is more than five times the growth compared with the mini album 1 released COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES announced last September.
CORTIS earlier released and made a comeback on the 4th with mini album 2 "GREENGREEN." The new release achieved million-seller status by recording about 1.2 million copies sold in one day after release. It then added a double million-seller in first-week sales.
In particular, it is even more notable because this ranks second following the 4.17 million first-week sales of the group BTS's fifth full-length album "ARIRANG," released in March. It is a testament to CORTIS's momentum as it continues a steep growth trajectory since debut.
CORTIS is promoting the new album's title track "REDRED."
