The King's Warden poster designer Park Si-young boasted about a same-sex partner.
On the 9th, a new video titled "Can we talk about everything like this when we first meet? Two people at opposite ends: Won So-yoon & Park Si-young, designers" was posted on the YouTube channel Watcha.
That day Won So-yoon said, "I wonder if you have anything you've been wanting to brag about recently," and Park Si-young said, "I don't know if I should talk about this, but I recently posted on Insta bragging about my partner."
Park Si-young said, "I woke up Sunday morning and the dog I raised had died, so every morning I look at photos. As I look, photos taken with my partner naturally come up, and they're so pretty. There are times when this feeling swells up like this."
She continued, "They were so pretty that I bragged that I have a partner like this, boasting about everything. About my feelings. But then it appeared in The Chosun Ilbo and the sports papers... so when they said I was coming out at age 40, I was so embarrassed," she confessed.
Park Si-young said, "But since it became an issue, I want to avoid answering this now, but no matter how I think about it, the only thing I can boast about now seems to be my partner. If you sincerely ask what I want to boast about deep in my heart, I want to carry my partner and show them off everywhere. I want to ride them and walk through the middle of Myeong-dong."
When Won So-yoon asked specifically, "What part of your partner?", Park Si-young said, "What I like is my partner's continual effort to act more mature. I whine a lot, act spoiled, and act cute. I cling and am bothersome."
Earlier, last month Park Si-young posted on her personal SNS, "My heart has been boiling for 15 years. I feel like I'm going crazy with love," sharing photos taken with her same-sex partner, and later deleted the post after it became a topic of conversation.
Meanwhile, designer Park Si-young started poster design with the film Jjakpae and has been responsible for poster designs of various works including Gwan-sang, The Wailing, Our, House of Hummingbird, Maggie, Good Boy, Our Unwritten Seoul, and The King's Warden.
