Actress Shim Hye-jin revealed that she gave up life in a country house spanning 3,000 pyeong and moved to the outskirts of Seoul.
On the morning of the 11th, actress Shim Hye-jin appeared on SBS PowerFM Park Haseon's Cinetown. To commemorate the station's 30th anniversary, Park Haseon invited Shim Hye-jin, who was once a Cinetown DJ, to hear a variety of stories.
Shim Hye-jin said about her recent life, "I moved closer to Seoul than Gapyeong," and "I gave up country living because it was too hard."
Previously, Shim Hye-jin married businessman Han Sang-gu, who studied abroad, and settled in Gapyeong. He once worked as the CEO of the electronics and telecommunications company COMMAX, and later was known to have risen to great wealth through real estate development.
In particular, Shim Hye-jin and her husband lived in a large country house in Gapyeong measuring a whopping 3,000 pyeong, which surprised viewers because it was equipped with a fitness center, a swimming pool, a draft beer bar and an outdoor barbecue area. Shim Hye-jin's country house was also revealed on the 2013 SBS variety show Barefoot Friends, attracting attention.
Park Haseon asked, "How was country living all this time?" and Shim Hye-jin said, "The distance, the hospitals, and cultural life all made it difficult. I decided to sort things out and moved (toward Seoul) to have more communication," and added, "These days I mainly do housework. I may not seem like it, but I quietly do a lot of housework."
