Kim Seon-ho donated 50 million won on his birthday to take part in a meaningful act of sharing.
According to his agency Fantagio, Kim Seon-ho on the 8th donated 50 million won to the Korea Association of Senior Welfare Centers on his birthday.
The Korea Association of Senior Welfare Centers is a national association that promotes various projects such as policy support, education, research, and network building for the development of senior welfare centers nationwide and the enhancement of senior welfare, and this donation will be used mainly to support educational and social participation activities for seniors at senior welfare centers across the country.
Kim Seon-ho recently spent a meaningful time communicating more closely with local seniors during filming of the variety show Bonjour Bakery, and it is known that this led him to decide on the donation. He wanted to send more than simple support, aiming to encourage seniors in their new learning and challenges.
To mark his birthday with a meaningful act of sharing, Kim Seon-ho has continued making birthday donations every year since 2021, conveying warm support in various ways such as covering medical expenses for children with leukemia and supporting young people preparing for independence.
Kim Seon-ho is currently appearing with Kim Hee-ae and Cha Seung-won on Coupang Play's new variety show Bonjour Bakery. Set in a quiet rural village and featuring the country's first "senior dessert café," it is a healing program in which seniors who know the flavors of life and bakery family members who know the taste of happiness share sweet comfort and warmth.
He is also set to appear in the Disney+ new series Portraits of Delusion, co-starring with Suzy, and will also present new works such as tvN's new drama The Doctor Is With You. <
