Actor Ko Kyung-pyo has decided his next move after the hit Undercover Miss Hong.
On June 11, OSEN reported that Ko Kyung-pyo will appear on a new MBC variety show scheduled to air in June. Ko Kyung-pyo will work with broadcaster Ro Hong-chul and chef Choi Kang-rok.
Ko Kyung-pyo chose the new MBC variety show as his first move after the tvN series Undercover Miss Hong, which ended in March. Undercover Miss Hong, in which Ko Kyung-pyo gave a passionate performance as Shin Jung-woo, ended on March 8 and recorded a peak rating of 13.1% (Nielsen Korea nationwide).
The title of the new MBC variety show that Ko Kyung-pyo has confirmed to appear in is still undecided, but it is known to be a reality-style program rather than a cooking show. This will be the first time Ko Kyung-pyo has appeared as a regular on an MBC variety show in his 16-year career.
Known as the "natural man Ko Kyung-pyo" for sightings such as using the Han River swimming pool and being seen on the subway, and also a meme-rich figure, Ko Kyung-pyo is expected to show a raw, full-of-life charm through the new MBC variety show.
