Yura, formerly of the group Girl's Day, revealed an anecdote about being shocked by Suzy's beauty.
On the 9th, Yura's YouTube channel "YuraYuraHae" published content titled "Girl's Day's Sojin picks the perfect marriage partner to match Yura."
This content featured Girl's Day's Sojin. Regarding her first meeting with Yura, Sojin opened by saying, "What I remember is that there was a booth where each of us went in and sang, and you and Hyeri greeted us. She was truly pure and gave the impression of having just come to Seoul."
Sojin continued, "It felt like she was as kind as possible and had no aggressiveness. I remember that expression she made when she acted so purely. She also had momentum. She seemed confident and did well."
Yura recalled her debut days. Yura opened up, "When I first came up from Ulsan, I thought I was the prettiest, but after coming up I thought, 'Wow, I'm the ugliest, this is a disaster.' I came thinking, Isn't this pretty enough, and then appeared on a program with all the pretty idols called 'Bouquet,' and where I was shocked was — do you remember the photos taken wearing wedding dresses?"
Yura said, "At first I was shocked when I saw Suzy, and I was also shocked when I saw Jiyeon. I think there were more than just one or two people who shocked me at first," referring to being stunned by the visuals of Suzy and T-ara member Jiyeon.
Yura added with a laugh, "After the shoot I was immediately demoralized and went alone into the booth and thought, 'I'm not pretty. After all, the Seoul metropolitan area is the Seoul metropolitan area.'"
