That day Heo Yeongman asked Yoon Tae-ho, "Is 'Misaeng' your representative work or is 'Pine' your representative work?" Yoon Tae-ho said, "'Misaeng' is my representative work," and explained, "I'm best known for 'Misaeng'."
Heo Yeongman asked if there was a character he loved most in 'Misaeng'. Yoon Tae-ho answered, "I like the character Section Chief Oh, played by actor Lee Sung-min," drawing sympathy.
Afterward Yoon Tae-ho confessed that he struggled financially when he got married. He opened up, "I have been married 27 years. In the first three to four years of marriage my annual salary was about 10 million won to 15 million won."
He continued, "My wife was borrowing money from her family without my knowledge," and confessed, "I kept waiting to serialize in the outlet I wanted, and several years passed."
Yoon Tae-ho recalled, "I printed the 'Misaeng' book and brought the money to my wife," and Heo Yeongman asked, "What did your wife's expression look like?" Yoon Tae-ho said, "At first she was too busy paying off debts to notice. When 'Misaeng' later became a drama we grilled beef and watched it together as a family," he said.
