Comedian Cho Hye-lyeon said she has never dated another comedian.
On the 9th, a video titled 'Cho Hye-lyeon mockery party' was posted on the YouTube channel Lee Yongjin. That day Cho Hye-lyeon said she recently finished the play Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption.
Afterwards she said, "I joined the play 'I love you, mom' and Lee Kyung-sil, Kim Hyo-jin, Kim Ji-seon and Cho Hye-lyeon take on four mother roles." The play 'I love you, mom' is an empathetic work drawn from a mother's perspective that deals with everyday family episodes and shows conflict and reconciliation.
"'I love you, mom' did so well that last year in some cases we even went to Sydney for performances and also went to Los Angeles," she said, adding, "This time we are casting 12 actors and 1,000 people applied."
Later Cho Hye-lyeon was asked, "Have you ever dated a comedian?" Cho Hye-lyeon answered candidly, "I have never dated a comedian. I have mistaken something for a spark (sseom) before."
When asked back, "Se Kyung-seok?", Cho Hye-lyeon mentioned Lee Yoon-seok and revealed, "I liked Se Kyung-seok, but I couldn't tell him and spoke with Lee Yoon-seok, who is close to him. The two talked a lot in Hongdae. I asked him to tell my story, but he didn't relay it."
This led to speculation that Lee Yoon-seok might have liked Cho Hye-lyeon. Cho Hye-lyeon confessed with a laugh, "No. I thought Kyung-seok would dislike it (so he didn't tell him)."
Internet users reacted, "Having lived, I realized that living passionately like Cho Hye-lyeon throughout one's life is by no means easy. I respect her," and "Cho Hye-lyeon is amazing. The fact that she appears at that age makes me feel she loves younger comedians and comedy," among other responses.
