Ayane, the wife of singer Lee Ji-hoon, directly explained and apologized over allegations that she targeted a daycare.
On the 10th, Ayane posted a long message on her social media reiterating her position on the recent controversy over allegedly targeting the daycare.
First, Ayane said, "Yesterday the daycare contacted me and we talked and resolved things," adding, "They said they were embarrassed because the situation unfolded differently from the original intention after seeing the story content in articles, and they said vitamin candies were sometimes given when i-dle fussed, and that not telling us in advance may have caused misunderstanding," she explained the situation.
She said she contacted the daycare her daughter attends and they talked about each other's positions and the situation and cleared up the misunderstanding.
Ayane went on to say, "From the beginning I did not post with the intent to attack, and I was surprised because I did not know there would be a situation where the daycare would give candy, but I did not think negatively at all about their giving it. I said there is no need for them to specially manage everything for only our child, we have never asked for that and there is absolutely no need to do so in the future, and I apologized repeatedly for the situation becoming like this."
She added that "since both the daycare and I have cleared up the misunderstanding, I do not want further spread."
Earlier, on the 7th Ayane posted on her channel that "it was a bit shocking," saying she found candies in her daughter Ru-hee's daycare bag.
She continued, "She only eats puffed rice snacks and I have not given her vitamin candies yet. But yesterday I found candy wrappers in the bag she brought from daycare," stating that Ru-hee is still on a salt-free diet. The situation escalated into controversy after suspicions arose that Ayane publicly targeted the daycare through her social media.
As the controversy spread, Lee Ji-hoon also apologized on social media on the 9th, saying, "Our Ru-hee is on a salt-free diet (she does not dye). Sorry for the fuss."
