I learned a secret from actress Moon Jeong-hee's childhood.
On the 8th episode of KBS 2TV Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant (hereafter "Fun-Staurant"), continuing from last week with Moon Jeong-hee and Moon Jeong-hee's mother's cooking showdown, Moon Jeong-hee revealed a childhood secret that caused surprise.
The two continued their cooking battle and recalled their childhoods. Moon Jeong-hee's mother said "When Jeong-hee was a baby she didn't drink formula," and said, "When Jeong-hee cried in the early morning, the woman next door would come and breastfeed Jeong-hee," which shocked Moon Jeong-hee.
Moon Jeong-hee asked, "So did I grow up drinking the woman next door's milk?", and her mother coolly replied, "You drank a lot of charity milk."
Meanwhile, Moon Jeong-hee's mother recalled, "My husband and I thought it would be good if Jeong-hee became an English teacher. But one day she said she would go to Korea National University of Arts."
Moon Jeong-hee is a first graduate of the Korea National University of Arts' drama school, and at the time she had no information about the school. Her mother explained, "We hoped she would fail. One day she came home crying and I thought, 'She must have failed,' and I was glad, but she said she had passed."
She added, "I went to the school to pay the tuition and saw a pink sticker on the application. That meant she was a scholarship student," she said proudly, creating a warm moment.
