Perfect Crown actress IU confessed her hidden feelings toward the sleeping Byeon Woo-seok.
On the 8th, in MBC's Perfect Crown, which aired, Seong Hee-joo (played by IU) watched the deeply sleeping Lord Ian (played by Byeon Woo-seok) and fell into complicated emotions.
Seong Hee-joo noticed Lord Ian's frowning face even while he slept and gently pressed his furrowed brow with her hand to smooth it. She then recalled Ian's past words of concern for her, "I'm a little worried my honor might harm you, junior," and fell into deep anguish.

Later, after meeting Min Jung-woo (played by Noh Sang Hyun), Seong Hee-joo finally exploded with the emotions she had been holding back. She blurted out through tears, "What am I supposed to do? You know. Right now neither the company nor the royal family is intact, and there's nothing I can do," and in desperation asked, "So tell me, oppa. What am I supposed to do?" but all she received in return was cold advice to stay still.
In response, Seong Hee-joo raised her voice in defiance, "Who told you to protect me?" When Min Jung-woo dismissed her relationship with Lord Ian as still a 'show window,' Seong Hee-joo admitted her change, saying, "I don't think it's that." When asked, "What do you mean you don't think so?" she confessed, "I like him. That person. Very much," revealing her true feelings for Lord Ian.
