The group BABYMONSTER opens the glamorous curtain on activities for their third mini album today (the 9th) as they take the stage for their first music show performance.
According to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER will appear on MBC's Show! Music Core, which airs this afternoon. This stage is the first official music show appearance since the release of the third mini album, and because the performance of the title track "CHOOM (춤)" will be revealed for the first time, it is drawing the attention of music fans around the world. Then on the 10th they will also take the stage on SBS's Inkigayo, imprinting an overwhelming presence throughout the weekend.
BABYMONSTER has already proven explosive buzz with content released through official channels alone. The music video for the title track "CHOOM (춤)" ranked first as the most viewed video within 24 hours and has now surpassed 52 million views.
Behind this popularity is a powerful performance befitting the song's title. With the shout "Let's choom," the point choreography powerfully uses the limbs, and the reversal choreography matching the lyric "Watch out" has been praised, leading a strong challenge craze with more than 110,000 related videos created across platforms such as TikTok.
BABYMONSTER topped the iTunes album charts in 19 regions upon their comeback on the 4th and is cruising as they reached the top of the worldwide album chart.
Following broadcast activities, they will embark on their second world tour covering Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America and South America. The tour will open with three days of concerts in Seoul from June 26 to 28, after which they plan to visit six Japanese cities (Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, Osaka) to meet global fans directly.<
