The group SeeYa, stirring up the music scene with a return after 15 years, revealed a teaser for the long-veiled first track "STAY," announcing a dramatic transformation.
SeeYa's agency, SeeYa Entertainment Co., Ltd., released a teaser video of Nam Gyu-ri for the first track "STAY" from the full-length album First, Again, set to be released on the 14th, through its official SNS channels on the 8th.
Appearing in a video released just six days before the comeback, Nam Gyu-ri dominates the scene at once against the backdrop of a dark garage lit by flashy neon signs.
Particularly striking is Nam Gyu-ri's visual transformation. She completes a metropolitan yet chic charisma with an all-black styling of a black crop top paired with a long leather coat — a reversal of charm 180 degrees different from the innocent image she has shown.
Throughout the video, a portion of the song "STAY," an electronic-tinged dance track, plays and captures the ear. Added to this is Nam Gyu-ri's fluid yet precise dance performance, which draws attention.
This is a completely different mood from the soft atmosphere of the previously released group jacket images, foreshadowing SeeYa's broad musical spectrum as they break away from the conventional image of a vocal group and flawlessly handle performances. As their choreography practice video had already piqued curiosity, public expectations are focused on the new capabilities they will show on stage.
SeeYa's full-length album First, Again will be officially released on streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on the 14th.
